Pre-construction in London
Doorvia Guides · July 3, 2026

Steady subdivision growth in the north and south, with mid-rise and student-oriented projects downtown.
London's new-build market is unusually balanced for Ontario: large subdivisions continue in the north, northwest and south ends, while downtown and near-campus areas add mid-rise and student-focused buildings.
Because supply keeps arriving, new construction competes directly with resale. That gives buyers negotiating power on incentives - decor credits, capped adjustments and parking - even when list prices hold.
Ask for the phase plan and school timing in subdivisions, and for downtown projects, compare rents and prices against completed buildings. Cap the levies and confirm the builder's Tarion record before signing.
