Pre-construction in midtown Toronto and Yonge-Eglinton
Doorvia Guides · September 7, 2026

Transit investment reshaped midtown, and new towers now sit beside long-established low-rise neighbourhoods.
Midtown Toronto, especially the Yonge and Eglinton area, has absorbed a large amount of new high-rise supply, driven by the Eglinton transit corridor and its established retail and school appeal.
The dynamic to understand is contrast: towers rise directly beside stable low-rise streets, so views, light and noise vary sharply by unit within the same building. Podium and lower-floor units on arterial roads deserve careful scrutiny.
Compare asking price per square foot with resale suites in nearby completed midtown buildings, and confirm construction staging on adjacent sites. As always, cap the closing adjustments and confirm parking availability, which is increasingly limited in transit-adjacent projects.
